TCS3200 COLOUR SENSOR

The TCS3200 Color Sensor is an advanced color detection device that uses a TCS3200 RGB sensor chip and 4 white LEDs. It has the ability to detect and measure an extensive range of visible colors, making it ideal for various applications, including reading test strips, sorting by color, ambient light sensing, color calibration, and color matching.

The TCS3200 features an array of photo detectors, each with a red, green, blue filter, or no filter. The filters of each color are evenly distributed throughout the array to eliminate any color bias. The device also has an internal oscillator that produces a square-wave output whose frequency is proportional to the chosen color’s intensity.
