– The SyRen motor driver is versatile, efficient, and easy to use for medium powered robots
– Can supply a single DC brushed motor with up to 10A continuously, with peak currents of 15A achievable for a few seconds
– Features overcurrent and thermal protection
– Can be controlled with analog voltage, radio control, serial, and packetized serial
– Can work in tandem with built-in mixing when two SyRens are used
– Operating mode is set with onboard DIP switches
– Has screw terminal connectors for easy building without soldering
– Features synchronous regenerative technology, allowing for battery recharge when slowing down or reversing
– Built-in 5V BEC for powering microcontroller or R/C receiver
– Lithium cutoff mode allows for safe operation with lithium ion and lithium polymer battery packs
– Transistors are switched at ultrasonic speeds (32kHz) for quiet operation
– Not recommended to use with cheap AC adapters, use a battery or DC supply in parallel.
