The SS49E is a linear hall-effect sensor that can detect the presence, strength, and polarity of a magnetic field. It has an analog output that provides information about the magnetic field and its characteristics. The sensor can output a voltage of around 2.5V when no magnetic field is present, and the output voltage will linearly ramp up or down relative to the strength and polarity of the magnetic field. The SS49E is immune to environmental disturbances such as vibration, moisture, dirt, and ambient lighting and is easy to use with microcontrollers or single board computers.
