Description :
– The Sabertooth 2X25 is a versatile and efficient dual motor driver suitable for high powered robots, up to 100lbs in combat or 300lbs for general purpose robotics
-It can supply two DC brushed motors with up to 25A each, with peak currents of 50A per channel achievable for a few seconds
– Overcurrent and thermal protection ensures the driver is protected against accidental stalls or by hooking up too big a motor
– Multiple control options: analog voltage, radio control, serial and packetized serial
– Independent and speed+direction operating modes, making it ideal for differential drive (tank style) robots and more
– Onboard DIP switches for easy operating mode setup, no jumpers to lose
– Screw terminal connectors, no soldering required
– The first synchronous regenerative motor driver in its class, regenerative topology allows for recharging of batteries when slowing down or reversing
– Built-in 5V BEC can provide power to a microcontroller or R/C receiver
– Lithium cutoff mode for safe operation with lithium ion and lithium polymer battery packs
– Transistors switched at ultrasonic speeds (32kHz) for silent operation
– Uses 1.3 milliohm MOSFETs in its bridge, rated as a dual 190A motor driver by competitors
– Not recommended to use with cheap AC adapters, use a battery or at least put a battery in parallel with a DC supply.
