The module is built around the popular NXP PN532 and is developed based on the official documents provided by the company. The module comes with an Ardui-no Sensor Shield for easy plug-and-play use and supports various interfaces including I2C, SPI, and HSU (High Speed UART) for easy integration with other devices.
This NFC module is small in size and easy to embed into your projects. It supports RFID reading and writing, peer-to-peer communication, and NFC with Android phones. The RFID reader/writer works with a variety of cards including Mifare 1k, 4k, Ultralight, and DesFire, ISO/IEC 14443-4 cards, Innovision Jewel cards, and FeliCa cards. The reading distance for Mifare tags is approximately 5cm-8cm, and for square SRT512(IOS14443B) tags it is 2-4 cm.
The module also has an on-board level shifter and supports Standard 5V TTL for I2C and UART, and 3.3V TTL for SPI.
