The Flex Sensor is a 4.5-inch long device that can measure resistance changes when bent. It uses patented technology developed by Spectra Symbol, who also claim that the sensor was used in the classic Nintendo Power Glove game controller. The resistance of the sensor changes when the metal pads are on the outside of the bend, with the text on the inside of the bend. The sensor has a 0.1-inch spaced connector that is compatible with breadboards, making it easy to use.
