The Cabinet U-Handles GN 528-SV-179-8,5-SW are made of a plastic material type UL 94 V-0, which is self-extinguishing and has been classified to UL 94 V-0 by Underwriters Laboratories. This classification covers the durability against fire and requires a plastic test piece of a defined shape and dimension to extinguish the flame within 10 seconds without leaving any burning droplets. The handles are more viable from a mechanical and thermal viewpoint than the polypropylene handles and are suitable for many applications. The ESD type handles are made of a conductive plastic material that prevents electrostatic loading and has antistatic properties according to IEC 61340-5-1, with the ESD imprint on the surface of the handle defining these properties.
